At PMP Software we are committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information.
The following statement explains how we manage your personal information in accordance
with the Privacy laws.
How do we collect your personal information?
We collect personal information about you in order to assess your qualifications for a specific job
opportunity, that be internally for PMP or externally for a PMP client, either as a contractor or in a
permanent position. The information is obtained from you directly or from referees nominated by you.
Generally, the type of information we collect about you is the information included in your resume or
application, for example your name, contact details, career history, professional qualifications,
interests and any other information relating to assessing you as a suitable candidate for a specific
position. In some circumstances, we may also collect sensitive information about you such as information
about your membership of a professional or trade association or trade union; your health; your racial or
ethnic origin or any criminal record you have. Where we collect this type of information we will obtain
your consent. You may elect not to provide us with personal information we request. As we only ask for
information we believe is relevant to the recruitment services we provide, this may hinder our ability
to provide those services in the most effective manner.
We may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes it was collected or to respond to
your enquiries. We may disclose your personal information to: - Potential employers - Clients who may
wish to engage your services as a contractor - Referees - Partners with whom we form consortiums
and alliances.
If your personal information changes please contact us and we will update and correct the information.
Furthermore, you may be contacted on a regular basis to check whether the information is still correct.
Your personal information is stored electronically in a database that is exclusively used by the
recruiting team and / or the directors of PMP. Password controlled access is given to these persons
and to the System Administrator who manages the system. For permanent employees, contractors currently
on a contract and active members of the PMP Candidate Care Program information may also be stored in
hardcopy in a locked archive to which only the office manager has the key.
